Anniversary trip to Lake Havasu, January 1999

Admittedly not the most romantic of spots, but it was inexpensive. Lake Havasu City is, of course, the home of the world famous London Bridge (which, of course, used to be in London).

Near the bridge landing, there's sort of a central plaza. Here are Terry and North in the plaza. Note that the pillar next to Terry is just like the one we saw in England at the border of the City of London.

The gateway to the plaza.

A British pub. In the Arizona desert. We ate a pub lunch there which actually wasn't too bad.

Scenes around town. Nothing much to say about any of these pictures. I'm sure I had a good reason for taking them at the time.

Desert scenery. See above comment.

We took a cruise on the Colorado River. This is a view from the boat. It's a panoramic picture, so you'll need to scroll to see it all.

The boat, and Terry on the boat

The woman at the right (with the... whatever it is around her neck) was having a birthday party. Noisily.

Several pictures of London Bridge, which was not falling down. Again, some of these pictures are panoramic.
